Maria A. Hoffer, age 73 of Dayton, passed away March 1, 2016. She was born June 30, 1942 in Gloversville, NY to the late Paul and Philomena "Fannie" Generoso. In addition to her parents, Maria was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Grove.
Maria is survived by her husband, Henry Hoffer; children: Terri (Bill) Vest, Vincent (Deanna) Lasher and David (Lisa) Lasher; son-in-law, Chuck Grove; step-son, David (Cathy) Hoffer; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother, Vincent "Butch" (Tilda) Generoso.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 4134 Cedar Ridge Road, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Maria's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
