Maria R. Breitenstein

Maria Rae Breitenstein, age 26 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1992 in Kettering, OH the daughter of Joe and Jane (Timmerman) Breitenstein.
Maria was preceded in death by her mother, Jane and grandparents, Tom and Cecilia Timmerman and Barbara Rae Breitenstein.

She is survived by her father, Joe; siblings, Jacob T. Breitenstein, Corey E. Breitenstein and Rachael A. Breitenstein, paternal grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Breitenstein; godparents, Jerry and Jenny Timmerman and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many other friends and loved ones.

Maria was a 2014 graduate of Fairmont High School and involved in the MRDD program, Wings of Love where she experienced a great deal of support and activities. She was also a member of the Church of the Ascension parish and enjoyed Pokemon, gaming, Disney, arts and crafts and collecting stuffed animals and dolls. Maria will always be remembered as affectionate, joyous and social. Her presence will always be with her family as their guardian angel.

A funeral ceremony for Maria will begin 10:00 am Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. Family will continue to receive guests following the service until 1:00 pm also at the funeral home.
