Margie A. Wineinger, a beloved soul who touched the hearts of many, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, in Huber Heights, Ohio. Born on September 25, 1941, in Booneville, Kentucky, Margie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished connections.
Margie enjoyed a fulfilling career at Pitney-Bowes / Monarch Marketing, where her vibrant personality shone through the years until her retirement. She was not just a dedicated employee; she was a friend and confidante to many, always bringing a smile to those around her.
Margie graduated from Owsley County High School, Class of 1958. Throughout her life, Margie's thirst for knowledge was evident in her love for reading books.
A social butterfly, Margie's personality was as warm as the sun she loved so dearly. She had a special talent for nurturing relationships, always finding joy in the company of others. Margie adored spending time with her family, playing large puzzles, shopping, and engaging in weekly lunches with her friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; she reveled in their laughter and milestones, making sure to be actively involved in their lives.
Margie's legacy will forever be carried by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Livingston-Lukjanovs (Mike); her treasured grandchildren: Jeramie Livingston, Jamin Livingston, Lily Irons (Mike), Chris Roberts and his wife, Jessica Cravens, Justin Cravens (Jessie), Amber Yager (Anthony), and Brian Wineinger and his wife; along with her great-grandchildren: Jamin, Kingston, Gabriel, Benjamin, Sadie, Lydia, Wyatt, Savannah, Hope, Grace, Billy and Bobby and many others; her sister, Debra Kinner (Nick); and her brother, Ronnie Peters (Peggy), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many other beloved family members and friends.
Of her deceased family members, Margie held dear the memory of her parents, Estill and Lillian Peters; her husband, Charles Wineinger; her daughter, Lisa Wineinger; and her brother, Donnie Peters. Each of them played a significant role in shaping the wonderful woman she became.
As we gather to honor Margie's life, we invite family and friends to join us for visitation on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM, all at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
Margie's vibrant spirit, loving nature, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
