Margie R. Lingo

Margie R. Lingo, a cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, in Kettering, Ohio, at the age of 94. Born on May 2, 1931, in Celebrity, Kentucky, Margie enjoyed a fulfilling life dedicated to her family and career.

For 50 years, Margie made a significant impact as a cosmetologist, bringing beauty and joy to many through her skilled hands and warm heart. Her passion for her craft was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends.

Margie was a proud member of Living Water Lutheran Church, where she found solace and camaraderie. In addition to her professional achievements, she was known for her generous spirit, often knitting hats for charity. She found great joy in spending time with her peers playing dominoes and bingo, activities that showcased her lively personality and love for connection.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert Lingo; her son Jeffrey Lingo and his wife Amy; her grandsons Dale and Zachary Lingo; her son-in-law, Gordon Richards; her grandson Casey Richards; and her granddaughters Mindy Vandewark and Melanie Beck. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, each of whom will carry fond memories of her in their hearts.

Margie reunites with her beloved husband, Robert F. Lingo, who predeceased her, along with her dear children Shelia Reynolds and Sharon Richards. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Rebecca Hamilton, her grandson Christopher Richards, and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation to honor Margie's life will be held on December 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Centerville Ohio. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, 643 State Route 503 S, West Alexandria, Ohio, 45381.

Her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.
