Margie L. Hopper, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 13, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of W. Roscoe and Laura (Noble) Murray.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Murray and sister, Louise Murray.
Margie is survived by her two sons, Leonard "Sonny" (Teresa) Johnson, Joey (Sharon) Johnson; daughter, Jennifer Ruth; six grandchildren, Lisa (Scott) Carper, Joey (Susan) Johnson, Jr., Stephanie O'Shea, Mindy Johnson, Jeremy (Cassie) Johnson and Jonathon Ruth; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Reba Jones as well as many other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering. Margie's family will receive friends from 3-5:00 pm at the funeral home.
