Margaret Claire "Peggy" Mosier

Margaret Claire "Peggy" Mosier passed away on June 29, 2026 at the age of 96. She was born on January 6, 1930, in Sault St. Marie, Michigan to Newton Y. and Susan (Stevenson) Field.

She graduated from Ashtabula, Ohio High School in 1948 and worked at Reliance Electric until her marriage to Richard M. Mosier in 1953. While Richard was stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, she worked as a clerk-typist for the Navy Dept. In 1993 she retired as secretary of McKinley Elementary School after 27 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, son Mark, brother Wallace Field and his daughter, sister Kathleen Rinto, and her daughter and granddaughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Mosier of Xenia and son David (Paivi) Mosier of Bemidji, Minnesota; granddaughters, Hanna (Brian) Erickson of Colorado Springs and Tuija Mosier of Hines, Minnesota; also surviving are great-grandchildren Shawn, Hailey and Cassandra Erickson of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no services.
