Margaret G. Lange

Margaret "Peggy" Garrigan Lange was born in Newark, NJ to Joseph and Etta Garrigan on September 30, 1936. She peacefully passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026. 

Peggy was preceded in death by 17 days of her beloved husband Bob. Their story began when they were 15 years old, met through friends in Lake Tamarack, New Jersey and their love lasted over 70 years. Family was the most important thing to both of them. Peggy loved fiercely, laughed often and spoke her mind......all the time! 

Peggy was also preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law and all her Lange in-laws. 

She is survived by her children, Bob (Mark), Trayce (Dan), and Michael. She is also survived by her three granddaughters, Katie (Michael), Erin (Mark) and Cassie, and her first great granddaughter, Amelia. Peggy never met a stranger, loved to talk to everyone and made us laugh...a lot. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at the Enclave at Springboro and the caring hands of Day City Hospice.

A visitation to honor both Peggy and Bob will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton OH 45459). A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm. The family encourages those who are attending to dress in comfortable attire.
