Dayton, OH - Margaret (Louise) Brown Wagner passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the age of 88, after a battle with ovarian cancer. Born on September 8, 1927, in Dayton Ohio, to the late William and Doris (McFarland) Brown. She was the last survivor of five children.
Margaret was preceded in death by the two great men in her life: Richard Rudolph Wagner, father of Luan, Doris and Richard L, and John Churella, father of Johanna.
She is survived by her children and spouses; Luan Wagner (Keith) Burn, Tucson, Az, Doris McDonald, Dayton, OH, Richard L. (Belinda) Wagner, Dayton, OH, and Johanna Wagner, Freeville, NY; 5 grandchilden Kacey John McDonald, Kalim Louis McDonald, Austin Wagner (Amber) Stewart, Rachael Marie Wilkerson, and Margaret Irene Wagner; ten great-grandchildren, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until time of Mass. A Celebratory Mass will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday February 16, 2016 at St Joseph Church, Dayton. Following the Mass will be a Celebration of Life at the Dayton Firefighters Activity Center until 4:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of Dayton, where she spent the last days of her life in great comfort.
Guests attending the Celebration of Life are encouraged to bring a smiley face balloon, something that brought her much joy in her last days.
