Margaret Fera

Margaret W. Fera, age 81 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was born January 8, 1945 in Utica, New York. Though a native of upstate New York, she lived most of her life in Massachusetts, and only recently moved to Ohio.

Marg was a veteran, serving in the United States Navy Reserve during the Vietnam Era. She was a long-time member of Gold-Stars Wives, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting surviving military spouses. Marg was also an avid flower gardener, tending with great care a labyrinth of azaleas, columbines, hostas, and daylilies. She was especially pleased with the many butterflies who visited her garden throughout the growing seasons.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Arthur Warner; Mother, Lillian Warner, and her Aunt Marion Mills; first Husband, John Fera, who died in Vietnam; Second Husband and Father of her children, John Borghetti.

Margaret is survived by her Son, Brett Borghetti; Daughter-in-law, Lorraine Borghetti; Son, Eric Borghetti; Daughter-in-law, Sinath Borghetti; Her Grandchildren: Maxwell, Noah, Summer, Brooke and Jasmine, as well as many other loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Traditions of Beavercreek for her family there.

Margaret will be laid to rest at the United States Military Academy Post Cemetery with her first Husband.
