Margaret Mae Fender, née Davis, born on August 19, 1932, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, at the Hospice of Dayton. She departed this life surrounded by loved ones and now joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Roger L. Fender, to whom she married on April 3,1954.

A woman of resolute dedication and admirable fortitude, Margaret crafted a splendid life for herself and her family through hard work and steadfast commitment. Her professional journey was marked by distinction and achievement; she was celebrated as an awarded top sales representative and realtor for Dockery Real Estate, where her skill and integrity earned her the highest esteem among colleagues and clients alike.

Margaret’s vibrant personality was complemented by her warm involvement in her community. She was a fervent participant at the Beavercreek Senior Center and a former attendee of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ. Her interests reflected a zest for life that transcended years—she delighted in travel, cherished playing cards with friends, found solace in reading the newspaper each day, and treasured the moments spent calling her loved ones.

She was predeceased by her husband Roger L. Fender, her daughter Susan Kuhbender, grandson Nicholas Fender, son-in-law Don Strouth, her parents Lee and Sylvia Davis, and her sister Nancy. She leaves to mourn her loss a loving family who will carry her memory forward with adoration: her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Diane Fender; grandchildren Donald (Breanna) Strouth, Brian (Kathleen) Strouth, and Elise (Scott) Burns; and many beloved great-grandchildren who were the light of her later years. She is also mourned by her brother, Lee Davis, and sister, Audrey Simpson.

The family will honor Margaret's life with a private ceremony. In this quiet resting place, her enduring spirit will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew her grace, her strength, and her immense love.

Margaret’s life was an eloquent testament to dedication, love, and the profound beauty that arises from a life well-lived. She remains an eternal inspiration, her legacy intertwined with the hearts of those she cherished and who cherished her in return.
