Marcella Richmond

Marcella Ann Richmond, "Marci" native of Dayton, OHIO, Old North Dayton. "Marci" born April 20, 1962 to the late Gene and Phyllis Carroll passed away Tuesday April 21, 2026; 64 years old, left us to soon; Marci is now at peace with those who passed before her; Her #1, son, Joshua Carl Richmond, her parents Gene and Phyllis Carroll and one and only brother Jeff Carroll, loving friend Jill Duncan. Marci was a nurse of 30 plus years caring for the elderly, special needs and those who couldn't care for themselves. Marci was not only a Mother, a Grandmother, Sister in law, Aunt and all the things she was a wife to Carl "Deak" Richmond for 45 years; Carl speaks of meeting Marci and on their second meeting in the hall of the high school, her and all her sass in a beautiful red dress, he was stricken, forever in love and loving her more than life he says. 

Marci has left behind Deak and grandson Joshua, Jr to grieve her loss, grief is seen as a continuation of love, reminding us that bonds remain strong and love does not fade away. We are sure her Son, Joshua was waiting at those pearly gates to welcome her to her forever home, the one he spoke of, the mansion with many rooms; John 14: 1:6. Left to morn Marci's loss, husband-Carl "Deak" Richmond, grandson, Joshua Carl Richmond, Jr, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins native Virginians, and many Inlaws/Outlaws here in Ohio, and Tennessee, not to mention the youngsters in the neighborhood , Old North Dayton, Northridge, Revive Church. Marci will be missed by family and friends, acquaintances alike. 

We will be laying her to rest at a graveside service Wednesday May 6th, 2026 at 11am, Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Nathan Hundley officiating. May the peace of God transcend all understanding.
