Maggie Sue White, age 80, of Fairborn, Ohio, was born April 9, 1945, in Louisville, Mississippi, to the late Rosebud Peterson and the late Janie Lee Triplett.
Maggie left here to be with her Heavenly Father on October 17, 2025.
Maggie attended Louisville High School and Holly Springs College. She was employed at Merian Rd Apartments, where she was the manager. She retired in 2010.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Alvin Guy White; sisters and brothers Annie Marie Williams, Lester James, Leo, Benny Ray, Billy Joe, Rosebud Jr., Dorothy Rose, and Dessie Neil — the Peterson children; one son-in-law, Yuanis Lee Harper Sr.; one brother-in-law, Sterlin Boston; and one special mention, James Earl Turnage.
Maggie leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Levesa Harper; one son, Curtis Ledent; five grandchildren, Kimberly (Robert) Jackson, Yuanis Harper Jr., Jamar Glover, Jermaine Glover, Aisha Ledent, Curtis Ledent Jr., and Jazzmine Smith and Jordan Ledent; great-grandchildren (30); great-great-grandchildren (8); three sisters, Mary Loving, Annette Baker, and Mary Boston; and one brother, Dewey Peterson of Baytown, TX. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm with Chaplin Branch and Decon Labertha Williams officiating.
