Madam L. Paschal

Carrie Lucille Paschal, age 83 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 26, 1935 in Drew, Mississippi to the late Rogie and Allie (Adams) Reed.

Carrie is survived by her children, Derrick C. Martin, Shelia A. (Anthony Q.) Martin and Tawana L. (Christopher) Stevens; grandchildren, Jennifer N. Martin-McLemore; great grandchildren, Nakyia and Ja'Nya as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Carrie was a certified nursing assistant throughout her career, offering support to many families needing assistance for over 25-years as an employee Compassion Home Health Care. She was a faithful member of the Dixon United Methodist Church for over 50 years serving on the Stewardess Board and worked with the Dixon Day Camp and Children's Ministry. Carrie loved hosting celebrations and gatherings for her family and friends. She also loved to cook, travel, make quilts and will always be remembered for some of her special recipes.

Family will receive guests from 12:00 – 1:00 pm Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Dixon United Methodist Church at 1691 Infirmary Rd, Dayton, OH 45417. A home-going will immediately follow at 1:00 pm also at the church and officiated by Pastor Cheryl Glenn-Jones. Burial at Dayton National Cemetery will be private and at a later date.
