M. Carolyn Ireland passed away on March 10, 2018. Carolyn was born on December 25, 1930 in Lima, Ohio to the late Doyt and Rowena Carr.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Walter (2001). Carolyn graduated from Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1951.
She is survived by 2 sons, Robert, of Dayton, and Steve and wife Betsy of Hilliard, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, Christopher and Jeffrey Ireland of Hilliard, OH; brother, David Carr and wife Becky of Toledo; and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
At Carolyn's request, there will be no visitation and funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Gateway Shelter for Women and Families: St. Vincent de Paul Administration 124 W Apple ST. Dayton, OH 45402
