Lucy A. Wantz

Lucy A. Wantz, 55, of Miamisburg, passed away August 23, 2018.

She was born February 15, 1963 in Newtownards, Northern Ireland to Henry and Susan (Howard) Cowgill. As a young child Lucy and her family moved to Australia where she grew up. While in Australia Lucy worked as a Hairdresser and owned her own salon, "Beyond the Fringe". She came to the United States in 1993.

Lucy was preceded in death by her father, Henry Cowgill. She is survived by her daughter, Lauren Wantz; her son, Justin Wantz; former husband, Randy Wantz; her mother, Susan Cowgill; siblings, Andrew Cowgill, Tim Cowgill, Felicity Cowgill, and Mandy March; her uncle, Roger Howard and wife, Shirley, and many nieces, other relatives and friends.

Lucy was a very loving mother, a very good cook, had a good sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was very compassionate and everybody loved her. Lucy easily made friends at Heartland of Miamisburg where she resided for the past 4 years.
