Lucille Lynn, age 96 of , passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was born April 11, 1922 in Midway, Alabama to the late William and Mattie McClain.
She was a member of Corinthian Baptist Church, the Old-Timers Club, the Naomi Circle and sang in the church choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Walter Lynn, Jr., Young "Horace" Lynn, Lucy Weaver, Ruby North, Tom Lynn; grandchildren, Cheryl North, Jessica and Janelle Lynn; siblings, James R., Annie Lois, Essie B., Wesely, Myrtle, Mae Francis, William Elijah, Waymon, Annie Laura, Thelma, Josiah and Lorene.
Lucille will be missed by her loving children, Willie Mae Lynn Freeman, Leola Lynn, Howard Lynn and John (Carol) Lynn, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Mattie Rogers and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Corinthian Baptist Church, 700 S. James H. McGee Blvd., Dayton, Rev. P.E. Henderson, Jr., officiating. Burial to follow at West Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Newcomer North Chapel.
