Lucia Adelynn Ruiz was born on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 10:58 am in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Eduardo and Kristin Ruiz. She was able to meet her brothers, Joshua and Nikolas, as well as other family members and friends. She died peacefully at 11:54 am in her mama's arms. The only thing she ever knew was love.
Along with her parents and brothers, Lucia is survived by her maternal grandparents, Michael & Linda Shipley; paternal grandparents, Pedro & Madeline Ruiz; aunts, Stephanie Shipley (Paul Bergert) and Alexandra Ruiz-Coleman (Chris Coleman); and cousin, AJ Bergert.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made in Lucia's memory to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation.
