Lowell Wayne Pitts Jr.

Lowell Wayne Pitts Jr., age 63 of Dayton, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born July 28, 1962 in Orange County, California, the son of the late Lowell Pitts Sr. and Jean (Hale) Pitts.

Wayne attended Meadowdale High School. He enjoyed many hobbies over the years including woodworking, ham radio (N8XKA), and RC racing.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sherry Simon-Pitts; children, Aaron (Jackie) Simon and Akala (Brad) Hall; grandchildren, Dakota (Jason Carr), Hailey, and Lane Hall; and great-granddaughter, Evelyn Carr.
