Lovilla Coyle

Lovilla Coyle, age 82, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on May 4, 1943, in Salyersville, Kentucky, to the late Frank and Ova Perkins.

Lovilla was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Sherrill Coyle; her cherished daughter, Pamela Sue Coyle; her parents; her siblings Greenville Perkins, Floyd Perkins, Rosie Connelley, Edna Stanley, Sina Powers, Jewell Perkins, Ellen Evans, and Almeda Poe; and her beloved dog, Cody. She is also preceded by many other members of her extended family and friends.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Melissa (Jody) Mutter of Huber Heights and Heather (John) Massey of Huber Heights; her brother Granville (Arlene) Perkins of Tipp City; her grandchildren Brittany (Zachary) Fishel, Brandon (Christina) Mutter, and Bailey Massey; and her great-grandchildren Tinleigh, Paisley, Parker, Grayson, Jaxson, and Lincoln. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Lovilla was a beautiful, strong, and caring soul. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, she loved her family deeply-they were her passion, her joy, and the heart of everything she did. A woman of deep Christian faith, Lovilla lived her life with love, kindness, and unwavering trust in God. A breast cancer survivor, Lovilla faced life’s experiences with grace and resilience, always uplifting those around her with strength and warmth.

Her love and spirit will stay with us always.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM ET at Newcomer - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.A funeral service will follow on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM ET at the same location. Burial will take place immediately afterward at Willow View Cemetery, 2500 Neff Road, Dayton, OH 45414.
