Louis "Lou" Anthony Lovato, Sr., 63 years old, passed away on May 24, 2021. Lou passed away, surrounded by his loved ones, from heart complications. He was the husband of Patricia Adamson. They shared decades together.
Born at Eglin Air Force Base on January 8, 1958, he was the first born son of Louis and Mary Lovato. He enjoyed his family, poker, and especially animals. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He will be remembered for his genuine and loving nature.
He is survived by his wife- Patricia Adamson; mother- Mary Lovato; children- Louis Anthony Lovato, Jr. (April), Matthew Lovato, Lacey Banks, Anthony Greear, and Kyle Adamson; grandchildren- Tyler Menefee, Austin Lovato, McKenzie Lovato, Jercey Reed, Alabama Lawson, Jaice Lawson, Julian Lovato, Gabbriela Lovato, Boston Greear, and Waylon Lovato; great grandchildren- Gracyn Menefee and Dominic Menefee; and siblings- Sandra Boyd (David), Dale Lovato, Alesia Kain (Randy), and Gary Lovato (Faith); his God son and nephew- Gary Ezequiel Lovato, II; his life-long friends- Jay and Debbie King; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Lovato, and brother-in-law, David Boyd.
Lou lived a full and warm life, filled with happiness. He will be forever loved and fondly remembered. We mourn the loss of Lou and encourage any and all who knew him to remember the beauty he brought to this world.
A memorial gathering for Lou will take place at Newcomer North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424, on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 4pm to 6pm. Following, a private celebration of life for family and close friends will take place at The Loyal order of Moose in New Carlisle, Ohio.
