Louis Cascanett

Louis Cascanett, age 88, of Clayton, Ohio, formerly of Cicero, NY, passed away April 18, 2026.

Louis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Myoung Cascanett; son and daughter-in-law: Louis Cascanett, Jr and Becky; daughter and son-in-law: Ann Cascanett Roth and Chris; grandchildren: Helen, Caitlyn, Logan, Anna, Mikel and Aiden; great-grandchildren: Nova, Sebastian and Adeline; sisters: Elizabeth Dumas and Rickey Redhead; brother, Butchie Steinbaugh; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Louis was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired after 22 years of service. He then worked for and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 24 years.

Louis attended St. Paul Catholic Church and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He was a very generous man, often giving donations to different charities.

Services are pending at this time and will be announced soon.  Contributions may be made to the Cicero, NY Knights of Columbus, PO Box 1526, Cicero, NY 13039.  Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio.
