Louellen Smith, age 77 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born October 8, 1943 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Monroe and Mary Jane Smith.
Louellen was caring, loving, personable, funny, outgoing and a great person. She had a beautiful smile and was a great friend. She enjoyed quality time at home being a mother and time with her pets, Stewie and Paris. Louellen liked to spend time outdoors gardening and especially visiting Florida, which she did every year. She will be dearly missed by all of her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, Louellen was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna; siblings, Phyllis Kirk, James David "Rat" Smith and Rose Ann Taylor.
Louellen will be missed by her loving son, Charles Thomas Weddle, Jr.; daughter, Patricia "Trishy" Smith; grandson, Doug Taylor; and siblings, Darrell (Lila) Smith of Sidney, KY, Mary Ann (Charles) Landsaw of Campton, KY, Terrie Kay (AJ) Blair of Jenkins, KY, Tammy Diann (Jeff) Smith of Bean Station, TN, Michael (Tammy) Smith of Sidney, KY; and good friends, Jennifer Tischer, Travis Smith, Beth Newton, Laura Dennis, Dustin Mills and Bob Maggard.
Family will receive friends Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
