Lorraine Renee Northern "Lala"

Lorraine Renee Northern, affectionately known as "Lala," passed away on August 12, 2025, in her hometown of Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 62. Born on January 30, 1963, Lorraine was a beloved wife, sister, and aunt, whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.

A graduate of Dayton Christian High School in 1981, Lorraine’s dedication to education continued at Sinclair Community College, where she pursued business classes that laid the groundwork for her esteemed career. For over 30 years, Lorraine made her mark in the records department of the PNC financial institution, showcasing her exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Lorraine’s personality was characterized by a unique dry sense of humor, which provided warmth and laughter to her family and friends. She was a devoted member of the Evangel Church of God, where her strong faith was a cornerstone of her life. Lorraine embraced every moment, cherishing her time spent with loved ones and her deep affection for animals.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Jeffrey Northern; her loving sister, Karen (Jay) Wilson; her brother, Mike Adams; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will remember her fondly. Lorraine also expressed her gratitude and appreciation for her special caregiver, Jessica Simmons, whose support was invaluable.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her father, Robert Adams, a devoted WWII POW who served in the Philippines, her mother, Carmel Adams, and her brother, Bob Adams, all of whom she held close in her heart.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to call her family and friends. Lorraine Renee Northern will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
