Lorraine Frank was born in Waterville, New York, on March 15th, 1934 and passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2026. Lorraine was an honest, kindhearted, and forgiving person, who was known for her boundless love and generosity.
After graduating from Waterville Central School, Lorraine eventually moved to Ohio where she worked as a secretary at Dayton Steel. She and the other woman there belonged to a club called the Wheelettes. Their club went to a Cincinnati Reds baseball game, via a charter bus driven by Orville Frank, who kept her company during the game, asked her to dinner afterward, then married her 2 months later on December 16, 1961.
After starting a family she happily accepted the role of homemaker and stay-at-home mom, where her contributions to her family were immeasurable. She found joy in her grandchildren, reading, crocheting, ceramics, and playing computer games. Additionally, she created cherished memories with family and friends through activities and traveling. Her easy spirit and devotion to others marked her as not only a beloved family member but also a dear friend to many.
She is survived by her children, Steven Frank, Stacie (Daniel) Foster, and Kevin (Misty) Frank; and her grandchildren, Jake (Ashley) Morgan, Sarah Roberts, Steven Frank, Bethany (Jonathan) Pozsgai, Lauren Frank, Trenton Foster, and Morgan Frank. Additionally, Lorraine took delight in the lives of her great-grandchildren, William, Maxwell, Abigail, Madalynn, and Maxton.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husband and former Navy veteran, Orville W. Frank, her parents, Albert and Florabelle Tarbox; and her siblings, Albert "Sonny" Tarbox, Reggie Tarbox, Leroy Tarbox, Helen "Ginny" Powell, and Lois Ruck.
Lorraine was deeply loved and will be missed dearly, but will live on in our hearts forever.
