Lorine Mckeever

Lorine McKeever, age 90 of Dayton, OH went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 22, 1930 in Junction City, Kentucky to Hiram and Mirtie (Gilbert) Tuggle. Lorine married Russell McKeever on July 10, 1952 in Ohio.
Lorine was devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a very spiritual woman, read her bible everyday and prayed daily for everyone. Lorine was an amazing storyteller and was the keeper of all the stories. She was an amazing cook known for her Ruebens, jelly toast and deviled eggs. Lorine retired from American Lubricants in Dayton where she worked as an Executive Secretary.
Lorine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, Russell McKeever; an infant daughter; a son, Larry C. McKeever; two brothers, Bedford Tuggle and Billy Tuggle; and a sister Carol Buell. Lorine is survived by her grandchildren, Rachelle (Gregory) McGhee, Larry (Amanda) McKeever and Justin (Christin) McKeever; 10 great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brittney (Steven), William (Chelsea), Jacob, Alex, Bobbie, Allie, Taylor, Olivia and Parker; 6 great great grandchildren, Carter, Kahl, Alexa, Albert, Charlee and Lennon; a sister, Betty Campbell; a dear friend, Helen Golden; and other numerous family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 11:00 to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will be follow the visitation at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Melvin King of Harmony Baptist Church, Riverside, OH. Lorine will be laid to rest following the services at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Lorine's name to Hospice of Dayton (Ohio's Hospice), 324 Wilmington Rd, Dayton, OH 45420.
