Lonnie L. Parsons

Parsons, Lonnie L. yearly age 60; leap year age 15, of Jamestown, Ohio was called home to be with the Lord after battling cancer on Saturday, July 11, 2020. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 29, 1960 to the late Lawrence J. and Rosa Marie Parsons (nee Howard).

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry J. Parsons, David E. Parsons, and Donald Parsons; faithful dog, Hogan.
Lonnie is survived by his sons, Bruce Parsons and Craig Parsons; Lilli Dunkin (Lilli Lou) who was like a daughter to him; granddaughter, Olivia Parsons; sisters, Linda (David) Barnett, Oma Jean Williams, Charlotte J. Gardiner, and Peggy (Ron) Lucas; brother, Gary Parsons; many nieces and nephews; clients from L. P. Lawn Care; childhood friends, Dale, Danny, Erik, and Taylor; close friends, Dave, John, and Pat; faithful dog, Chance; and a host of other family members and friends.

Lonnie was proud of his lawn business, L&P Lawn Care and his many years of work on the Lyons Farms. He was an avid fisherman and would spend time going to hidden ponds for the best fish. Lonnie searched local areas for Indian arrowheads and artifacts, made a collection that he held dearly. He was very proud of his granddaughter Olivia, and would show pictures of the prized fish she caught to everyone he could.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by Funeral Service at 7:00 pm.
