Lola Fay Price

Born on April 12, 1942, and entering her eternal home with the Lord on the twentieth day of July, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-six, our beloved Lola Fay Price passed peacefully from this life, surrounded by the love she had so generously shared throughout her lifetime.

Born up Big Branch in Helton, Kentucky, Fay's life was rooted in faith, family, and love. She later made her home in Ohio, where she and the love of her life, Harold F. Price, were married in Dayton, beginning a beautiful marriage that would span fifty-seven devoted years.

For fourteen years, Fay was a dedicated employee of Good Samaritan Hospital, where she worked with diligence, humility, and pride. Whether at work or at home, she believed every task was worth doing well and every person deserved kindness and respect.

A loving wife, cherished mother, beloved sister, faithful aunt, and treasured friend, Fay lived with grace and a generous heart, extending kindness and compassion to everyone she encountered.

She was devoted to her family and was the person everyone turned to for wisdom, comfort, guidance, and reassurance. Strong yet gentle, she carried others through life's hardest moments with quiet faith and unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alifare Jackson and father, Andrew Jackson including beloved brothers and sisters, Johnny Jackson, Fred Jackson, George Jackson, Preston Alonzo Jackson, Donna Napier, and Ora Branson.

Fay is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-seven years, Harold F. Price; her daughter and best friend, Beverly S. Pierce, and her husband, Zachary A. Pierce; her faithful niece, Debbie Freeman; her beloved sister, Barbara Sue Brown; and many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends whose lives were blessed by knowing her.

Fay was a holy woman whose faith in the Lord guided every step of her life. She sought to live as Christ taught, loving freely, forgiving generously, and serving others before herself. Her quiet faith, gentle spirit, and compassionate heart left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

Though our hearts grieve her passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and find comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into the loving embrace of her Savior.

"Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord."

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, July 24, 2026 at Newcomer, North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). Funeral Service will be officiated on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 10:00 am at Newcomer, North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). Lola will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
