Lois J. Nesbitt (Johnson)

Lois J. Nesbitt (Johnson), age 85 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2024. She was born September 18, 1938 in Harlan, KY to the late Burchell and Lydia (Burkhart) Roark. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Loyal Johnson, her second husband, Raymond Nesbitt; granddaughter, Melissa "Missy" Meyer; sister, Irene Fazio; brothers, Leon Roark, Paul Roark, Estill Roark and Rex Roark.

She is survived children, Debra Yost, Richard (Brittany Sutterfield) Johnson, Robert (Ana Marie Ibe) Johnson, Kimberly (Kenny Cox) Howell and Gary Johnson; grandchildren, Nicholas, Amber, Ricky, Stephanie, Asher, Justin, Lydia and Cole; great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Dominick, Cheyann, Liam, Logan, Makayla, Braydon, Ricky Jr., Parker, Evelyn, Aubrey, Ivy, Abby, Addy and Madison; brothers,
Virgil Roark and Roger Roark; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

Lois enjoyed gardening and spending time with her loving children and grandchildren. She loved traveling with a gospel group, singing gospel music and playing the piano at church.

Family will receive guests from 9:00 am - 11:00 am on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.
