Lois Jean "Jinx" Miller

February 2, 1930 — February 16, 2019

"Say not in grief that She is no more but say in thankfulness that she was. A death is not the extinguishing of a light, but the putting out of the lamp because dawn has come." - R. Tagore
On Saturday February 16th, 2019, Lois Jean "Jinx "Miller of Kettering, Ohio passed away peacefully from natural causes at the age of 89. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents Ray and Joan Stoop, her loving husband Eugene Miller, devoted son Emmett Allen Williams, beloved grandson David Allen Brewer, and her sisters Blanche Stamp, Christine Whitlock, and Josephine Harrison.
Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Joan (Miller) & Roger Wright, her Granddaughter April Shellenberger, and her two great-granddaughters; Rhianna Shellenberger and Karina Brewer.
Jinx, as she was called by her friends, was many things to many people. She was born on Groundhogs Day of 1930 (2/2/1930). Jinx was a devoted parent to both her children. A doting and loving grandmother to her two grandchildren. A close friend and confidant to her sisters. Jinx spent many years of her life in the local lodge as an Eastern Star helping to give back to the community. She enjoyed raising her various dogs, creating ceramics in her kiln, and spending days with her friends relaxing and enjoying all God had given her. Lois also enjoyed the many summers spent with her family camping out at The Lake of the Woods Campground, as well as the peaceful times just spent at home with family and friends. She has sadly spent the last few years fighting the battle against Alzheimer's disease and Cancer, and God finally called her home to rest.
