Lois Ada Walthall, age 90, of Dayton, passed away March 17, 2016. She was born July 16, 1925. Lois lived her whole life in the Dayton, Ohio, area. She was a graduate of Wayne High School. Lois worked as a telephone switchboard operator and as a filing clerk. She married Millard "Red" Walthall, and they enjoyed boating, fishing, and water skiing together, especially on Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee and on Cumberland Lake in Kentucky. Lois enjoyed finding little decorations for her place, and loved to celebrate the holidays. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl Happel and Anna Theodoras, brother Robert Happel, and husband "Red" Walthall. She is survived by a half-sister, Melpo (Charlie) Baker; and half-brother, James (Rita) Theodoras. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Forest Hills Cemetery.
