Logan Charles Grimes, Jr. age 20, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2018 in Dayton.
He was born January 23, 1998 in Dayton to Logan Charles Grimes, Sr. and Tabitha Grimes.
Logan was a gentle giant who loved people and was always ready to help others. He enjoyed video games and reading. He volunteered at a local church pantry and cared deeply about his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Dortha Ison-Wehr, great grandfather Gary Wehr; great grandfather Noah Ison and uncle Dale Ison.
Logan is survived by his parents; grandmother Sharon Stevens; grandfather Robert Stevens; grandmother Mary; uncle Steven Grimes (LC's brother) and various aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Logan's wonderful life will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. A reception will be held following the interment at Open Bible Church in Dayton.
Logan's family will greet friends on Thursday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
