Lt. Col. Lloyd H. Reed, 94, of Huber Heights, passed away March 6, 2016. Lloyd was born in Fowlerville, Michigan on April 24, 1921 to the late Charles and Diana Reed. Lloyd was a WWII vet who retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service. In his free time, he was a long time volunteer for the American Red Cross at Wright Patt Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Bernelda (Margie) Reed; brothers, Lawrence Reed, Leo Reed; sister, Loretta Opper
He is survived by his son, Charles (SunCha) Reed; daughter, Patricia (Helmut) Kister; grandchildren, Michael (Darlene) Kister, Erich (Erin) Kister, Greg (Karin) Kister, Brian (Carrie) Reed, David Reed; great grandchildren, Nickolas (Brenda) Kister, Jordan Kister, Nicholas Reed, Kimberly Reed; great great granddaughter, Mia Lee Kister; brother, Lyle (Isabel) Reed; and several nieces, nephews and special friends. His family would like to express their special thanks and appreciation to a dear family friend and neighbor, Missy Hunt who brought a lot of joy to his life.
Lloyd was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
