Lisa Diane Cummings

Lisa Diane Cummings, age 56 of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 19, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry Cummings and Mary Dunn.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gregg A. Dunn.

Lisa is survived by her son, Tony Allan Dunn; daughters, Marissa Nicole (Jon) Carnes, Sarah Noelle Dunn; brothers, Gary Glueckert, Rick (Sue) Cummings, Tom (Bev) Cummings; sisters, Lori (Tom) Kelley, Lynne Watson (Amy Reese); grandchildren, Anthony and Caden Dunn; mother-in-law, Pat Alflen; sister-in-law, Robin (Bill) Dix; brother-in-law, Jeff Dunn; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.

Lisa was a lover and a fighter. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and watching daytime dramas. She loved music, and treasured the bond she shared with her mother through Elvis and Fleetwood Mac. She let her artistic side shine with coloring and painting. Lisa was truly a kid at heart. Her courageous spirit helped her overcome many of the battles in her life. She attacked cancer head-on and never lost her sense of hope.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 6 pm.
