Van Oss, Linus J., Jr, age 87, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, where he was a Sgt and Tank Commander.
Linus was retired from Butler Asphalt after several years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 yrs Norma. Survived by 2 step children, Danny Armstrong, and Sheila Armstrong; 2 brothers, Robert G. Van Oss , and Ronald D. Van Oss ; 1 sister, Alvena C. Zimmer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
