Linda L. Strole

Linda L. Strole, age 70, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Linda was born December 3, 1953 to the late David Howerton & Mable (Laws) Britton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Howerton, Jr. and bonus son, Howard Strole.

Linda is survived by her son, Bill (Michelle) Britton; daughter, Crystal (Steve Combs) Strole; bonus daughters, Daniele Strole, Michelle Strole and Bobby Jo (Bill) McDaniel; grandchildren, Mandy (Jimmy) Wills, Lonnie (Jenay) McDaniel, Bobby McDaniel, Ocean (Patrick) Strole, Kenny (Terri) McDaniel, Caitlin Strole, Taylor (Alex) Bell, Megan Britton, Collin Britton, Sara Britton, Dawson Strole, Greyson Williams, Landon and Alanah; 30 great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd "Tiny" (Kathy) Howerton; sister, Betty Prunest; best friend of many years, Pamela "Pam" Hall; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Linda worked for Jobs & Family Services in Dayton for 30 years. Many years ago, she was a hairdresser at Fiesta in Dayton. Linda enjoyed watching her grandchildren do numerous activities. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Newcomer North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm.
