Linda Gail (Turner) Hutchison, passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on January 24, 1947, in Rockwood, Tennessee, Linda led a life filled with love, independence, and unwavering support for those around her.
A proud graduate of Stebbins High School, Class of 1965, Linda went on to enjoy a successful career as a bookkeeper. She shared her skills with various companies, including Charles Simms Developer, A.J. Stapleton Excavating, and most recently, Harry Weaver & Associates. Her colleagues knew her as a diligent worker who could always be relied upon to get the job done right.
During her youth, she was a member of The Chapel Keys Trio, alongside her special friends: Donna, Shirley and Mona Brown (pianist). They traveled throughout the tri-state area performing over the years. She was also a member of the former church, First General Baptist Church, which was on Woodley Road, in Dayton.
Linda's personality was a blend of feistiness and strength; she was very independent and could always be depended upon by those in need. She was a steadfast source of support for her family and friends, always there for those she loved. An avid reader and lover of jigsaw puzzles, Linda found joy and relaxation in the pages of books and the challenge of piecing together intricate images.
She is survived by her loving sisters, Sandy (Ed) Heath and Connie Turner; her dear granddaughter, Allison Hutchison; nieces Kelly Winkler, Jennifer Heath, and Megan (Gregg) Sunshein; and other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret (Isham) Turner, her beloved son, Mark Anthony Hutchison, and her nephew, Rob Loudermilk.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432. She will be laid to rest following these services at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, beside her son, Mark.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Dayton, for the care given to Linda.
