Lillian Evadney Muslar, better known as Mamush, born on October 2, 1932, in St. Paul's Bank, Belize City, departed this world peacefully on January 5, 2026. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her nurturing spirit and her passion for cooking and baking. Lillian's family will always remember her as a wonderful mother who dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her children, ensuring their meals were lovingly prepared and their needs were met with care.
In her personal life, Lillian was a vibrant individual. Active and engaging, she possessed a warmth that enveloped those fortunate enough to know her. Although she exhibited a shy and reserved demeanor initially, she quickly melted into a welcoming presence, radiating kindness and sincerity once connections were made. Known for her honesty, she never hesitated to share her thoughts, embodying truthfulness in her interactions. Lillian took pride in her appearance and was always well-dressed whenever she ventured out. She was also a devout Catholic, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Belize.
Lillian held a multitude of interests and hobbies that brightened her life. Her love for cooking and baking was a particular highlight, with special cakes baked for Christmas gatherings, which will remain a sweet memory for her family. Sports such as tennis brought her joy, while her trips to the casino and being an avid bingo player, provided her with entertainment and cherished moments with friends. Additionally, Lillian had a deep love for travel, often returning to her roots in Belize to reconnect with family and friends.
She leaves behind a loving family that includes her daughters, Mary Muslar, Audrey Muslar, special daughters Cadeya Brown and Juliet McDonald; her sons, Michael Muslar, Eugene Muslar, Allyson Muslar, Errol Muslar, and David Muslar; and her step-son, Hamilton Muslar. Lillian's legacy also extends to her 24 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, each of whom carry a piece of her heart and spirit with them. She is survived by her cherished siblings, Wilhelm "Peter" Casasola, Louis Casasola, and Olivia Betson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Modesto Muslar, and her parents, Edward and Leonie Casasola. She was also reunited with her siblings, Helen, Walter, Dennis, Oliver, Edwin, Alma, Thelma, Myrtle, and Orlin, all of whom have left an indelible mark on her life.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and she will be remembered fondly for her unwavering love, kindness, and dedication to her family. Lillian Evadney Muslar will be deeply missed but forever celebrated by all who had the privilege to know her.
A visitation will held from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, with Lillian's service starting at 4:00pm.
