Lila Marie Adams-Gibson
March 10, 1924 — August 13, 2017
Lila M. Adams-Gibson, 93, a long time resident of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away at home on August 13, 2017.
Lila is preceded in death by her father, Millard F. Ledford and her mother, Virginia J. Ledford (Turner); her brothers, Herbert, Frank, and Millard, Jr.; her sister Grace Fleming; her first husband, Maurice C. Adams; her second husband, Roscoe Gibson; and her eldest son Kenneth E. Adams. She is survived by her son, Maurice J. (Barbara) Adams of Lake Worth, FL, and her daughter Norma J. (William) Campbell of Bluffton, SC. Lila deeply loved and enjoyed her five wonderful grandchildren: Bradley, Wade, Brian, Jason, and Shanon. She was further blessed with six great grandchildren, Carolina, Cole, Alyssa, Daelin, Chelsea, and Owen.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for August 22, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. Visiting hours with the family will be from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm and service will begin at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Harkless O'Bryant.
Lila lived a long and full life and will be missed by family and friends.
