Lester Purvis Sr.

Lester Purvis, Sr., age 67, of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on April 15, 2016. Lester was born in Sand Gap, Kentucky on February 28, 1949 to the late Willard and Fredia Purvis. He retired from roofing at Enterprise Roofing after over 25 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, gambling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Lester is preceded in death by his son, Les Purvis, Jr.; and his sister, Omalene Arnold.

He is survived by wife of 49 years, Patsey Purvis, daughter, Joyce Purvis, son, Jesse (Ellen) Purvis; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jesse) Lewis, Zachary (Courtney) Purvis, Andrew Purvis, Paige Purvis, Summer Purvis, Alexis Purvis, Christopher Homer, Brandon (Amber) Homer; great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Charlotte Lewis, Cali, Kinley, Hadlee, and Henslee Homer; brothers, Ernie, Paul, Charles, and several other special relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 beginning 2pm at the Montgomery County Lodge #104, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
