Les Soliday

Les Soliday, age 67, of Verona, Ohio, passed away February 2, 2026. He was born November 19, 1958 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Marvin and Helen Soliday.

Les is survived by his wife of nearly 37 years, Mary Soliday; children: Vince and Gina (Jimmy); and brother, Marvin.

Les worked as a machinist for Yoder's Industries for many years and was also a firefighter. He loved trains and photography. He was a member of Brookville Church of the Nazarene, Fellowship of Christian Magician's and helped with children's evangelism.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Les' memory to Dayton Children's Hospital.
