He was born on December 9, 1936 to Arcadio and Virginia (Lopez) Figueroa in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Leo worked in the Salsa Music Industry for all of his life including with Ralph Mercado Management (RMM). This label company was established by Fania Records.
Leo is survived by his loving Wife of 43 years, Carmen Rivera; Daughters, Liza (Leonardo) Abreu and Arlene Ortiz; Grandchildren, Natalee Figueroa, Angel Abreu, and Bryan Abreu; and other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Virginia and Arcadio Figueroa; and Son, Leo Figueroa, Jr.
