Leda Ann Miller, aged 78, passed away on November 17, 2025, in Beavercreek, Ohio. She was born on March 7, 1947, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and was a proud member of the first graduating class of Carroll High School.
Leda built a commendable career as a dedicated secretary for Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where she served with distinction for many years.
In addition, she brought her organizational skills and compassionate nature to her role as a Medical Records Clerk at numerous medical facilities, which included several doctors’ offices in the Beavercreek, Ohio area and for Wright State University Medical Center.
She was an active member, in the Catholic Church, wherever she lived. She was especially proud of being a new member of the Unit of Ruth, in Northfield, Minnesota where they immediately made her their temporary Treasurer--for 7-yrs. They never found anybody better. She also was trained to give out communion on the Alter on Sundays at St Dominic’s Church in Northfield, Minnesota.
She loved the small college town of Northfield, Minnesota where she would take her young boys to the grocery store, three blocks away, on a sled in the winter.
Once her boys were in school, she worked part time for the Northfield Realty Co. as their secretary.
She loved to walk from her house, in the evenings, to Carlton College, four blocks away, with other ladies on her street. As the group grew to 5-7 ladies, they became known as the “Union Street Walkers.”
Known for her devotion to family, Leda spent over 50 wonderful years alongside her beloved husband, Terry L. Miller. Together, they nurtured a loving household that included their cherished sons, Jason P. (Angel) Miller and Christopher S. Miller. She also leaves behind many other loving family members and friends who will remember her warmth and kindness.
Leda is preceded in death by her dear parents, Steve G. and Ann R. Tomasko. Her legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM, both taking place at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio.
