Lawrence Stoner

Lawrence E. Stoner, age 71 of Lewisburg, passed away April 20, 2011. He was born October 1, 1939 in Dayton to the late Arthur and Florence Stoner. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his infant son, Donald Stoner; and sister, Laurice Stoner.

Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce Stoner; children: Kenneth Stoner, Jim & Emily Stoner, Tom & Michelle Stoner, Ron & Teri Stoner, Jonathan & Kamie Stoner, and Jennifer & Tim Foster; grandchildren: Joshua Stoner, Christy & Sean Eaton, Jake Stoner, Donald Stoner, Mason, Alex & Chelsea Stoner, Katie Stoner, Jonathan Stoner and Kayla Stoner; great granddaughter, Chloe Stoner; sisters: Joyce & Dan Pawpaw, Rosie & Brooks Beatty and Grace & Jim Shaw; brothers & sisters-in-law: Norm & Celia Roberts and Melvin & Colleen Lewis; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday. Pastor Lyle Welty officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg.
