Age 78, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009.
Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 52 ½ years, Janet A. Borgerding, on June 21, 2008.
Dick is survived by four children, Lorene Spurgeon, David Borgerding, Cynthia (Cris) Hartsock, and Julie Wills; grandchildren, Cristopher & Michael Hartsock and Amber (Gary) Bricker, Brian (Danielle) Borgerding; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Kirsten, Sandis, Evan & Sada; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Dick enjoyed fishing, gardening and mushroom hunting. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday (9/17) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
