Lawrence M. "Uncle Pete" Peck, age 83 of Dayton, OH passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Heartland of Kettering. He was born October 22, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio to Leroy and Sylvia (Mentzer) Peck.
Uncle Pete loved to fish and enjoyed collecting items with his metal detector. He loved his canine companion and best friend Oreo, who will be with him forever. Pete enjoyed his years at White Allen, where he worked as a lot attendant, and was an excellent chef, working for Suttmiller's and other restaraunts during his career. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Pete is survived by his two nieces, Teresa Peck and Rosanna (Chris) Whitmarsh and several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronald L. Peck; and a nephew John A. Peck.
No services will be held at the request of Lawrence and the family.
