LaVelle Rhea

LaVelle Rhea, of Kingsland, GA, formerly of Beavercreek, OH passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, William, to whom she was married 54 years. She is survived by two sons, William (Patricia) Rhea and Mark (Stacey) Rhea, and two daughters, Lisa Palmer and Patti (Kevin) Black. LaVelle is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sarah (Mark) Kaye; Corey (Jessica) Black; Rachel (Daniel) Foley; Kyle (Serena) Black; Katie Elkins; Nick (Kayla) Palmer; Madeline Rhea, and 18 great grandchildren.

All services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at St. Helen's Parish, 5100 Burkhardt Rd, Dayton, OH. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, all at St. Helen's Parish. LaVella will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
