Larry Wiggans

Lawrence D. "Larry" Wiggans, age 79, of Huber Heights, passed away August 3, 2026. He was born April 12, 1947 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Eunice Wiggans. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers: David Wiggans and Dean Wiggans; grandson, Caleb Sargent; and his best friend, his dog, Molly.

Larry is survived by his wife, Debbie Wiggans; children: Brian Wiggans, Kim Wiggans, Sherrie Wiggans (Randy Ewing), Zach Wiggans (Heather), Lisa Sargent (Shawn Miller) and Stacey Harkins (Chad); grandchildren: Chris Caupp, Cody Wiggans, Chad Wiggans, McKenzie Flory, Izzy Lindsey, Gabby Lindsey, Arabella Wiggans, Elijah Wiggans, Kelsey Barnes, Cody Morgan, Joshua Morgan, Jonah Morgan and Hunter Harkins; great-grandchildren: Julian, Attlys, Jakobi, Jahlil and Nahama; brother, Daniel Terrie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Larry was a truck driver and retired from SuperValu after many years of service. He was a member of the Local Teamsters Union # 957. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing checkers, playing the lottery and doing scratch off tickets. More than anything, Larry was a wonderful husband, father and pappaw. He loved spending time with his family, especially playing games with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Larry's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
