Larry E. Sammons, Sr.

Larry E. Sammons, Sr., age 69, of Dayton, passed away October 3, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 28, 1951, the son of the late Johnny and Betty Sammons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Emma Nicole Sammons; and his sisters, Shirley Hall and Sandy Hogston.
Larry is survived by his sons, Larry (Sharon) Sammons, Jr. and Barry (Tiffany) Sammons; grandchildren, Kaylee Barnes, Pyper Barnes and Landon Barnes; sisters, Mary Sammons and Debbie (Mike) Lemaster; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was a member of the Dayton Moose Lodge and Christian Motorcyclists Association for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies and loved to spend time with family and friends. He was very outgoing and would make friends wherever he would go.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020, from 10am-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 11am.
