Larry Edwin Roberts

Larry Edwin Roberts, age 73, of Fairborn, passed away on August 15, 2026. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 23, 1953, to the late George Roberts and Reva (Long) Whitt.

A dedicated worker, Larry was employed by General Motors and went on to own Larry's Painting. He was a cherished member of Victory Church, engaging with both the Men's Group and Singles Group.

Larry found joy in NASCAR, collecting memorabilia, and attending classic car shows. He proudly participated in the Dayton Chapter of the Trans Am Club of America. He was a kind, quiet soul, who found joy in the simpler things in life. Larry was dedicated to those he loved and was a devoted caregiver to his mother before her passing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Gary Roberts; sisters, Faye Amburgey and Lisa Adams; and step-brother, Vondal Whitt. He leaves behind brothers-in-law, Michael (Nadia) Adams and Wayne Amburgey; step-brother, Durward Whitt; nieces, Christa (Michael) Burress, Alicia (Matt) Nelson, and Amelia (Austin) Collins; nephew, Anthony Roberts; great nephew, Zachary (Emily Evans) Sparks; great niece, Erin Sparks; alongside many beloved relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Road, Fairborn at a later date.
