Larry Rike

Larry R. Rike, age 79, of Union, formerly of Arcanum, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, in Daytona Beach FL.
Larry was born April 16, 1944, with his twin brother Jerry, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Virgil "Pete" Rike and Sylvia (Minnich) Rike.
Larry retired from GM, Dairy farming, Meloy's Taven and the Real Estate business. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Larry was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of Greenville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and Antioch Shrine Center of Dayton. He was an avid sports enthusiast especially NASCAR, Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, twin Jerry and Galen.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Jim) Fourman of Lewisburg; nieces, Monica (Matthew) and her daughter, Lucy Liberatore of PA, and Julie Fourman of NC. He is also survived by his sweetheart of 18 years, Betty Crusenberry, and her family Joe, Robin, Preston Moore and "Papaw's" "Little Man" Griff of Tipp City. He is survived by his 2 children, Charlotte and Randall and many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 4-6pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 6pm.
Larry will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery, St. Rt. 503, West Alexandria, OH on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 10am.
Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Shrine Foundation, 107 E. First St., Dayton, OH 45402.
